On Sunday, April 26, a new reality TV show (Mercy and Ike) that is focused on Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season winner Mercy Eke and her boyfriend Ike Onyema, the show will debut on the “African Magic Showcase” channel.
MultiChoice Nigeria announced the news in a statement, saying the show is a continuation of their love story. Before the disclosure, the two contestants who found love in the game teased their fans on their social media page with the tidbit of the upcoming show “Mercy and Ike“. Fans can now watch the two lovebirds continue their love story and be delighted by their feelings and pranks.
In addition to the show, the leading video entertainment company will also launch another reality show named ”Judging Matters”, which will air on Monday, April 27.
The show will be judged by a retired judge from the Lagos State, Justice Olusola Williams, and media celebrity Ebuka Obi-Uchendu the reality show counselor, the show aims to resolve small claims and minor cases in Lagos, which poses a huge challenge to the existing person to deal with in court, often resulting in a long-term state without friendly resolutions. The company described the show as a recorded reality TV show where real people cooperated with the Lagos State Department of Justice to obtain justice from the small debt court.
“The show aims to solve problems that have not received enough attention in court. These cases are easily considered and resolved by the Lagos State Judiciary.”
Although the show is expected to bring entertainment, it will also become a source of education and information about the Lagos State justice system. There will be no lawyer fees, documentation fees, long delays, or adjournments. A forum where you can hear a case, don’t worry about it being trivial, and you can make a judgment immediately.
Williams will handle these cases. Her role is to listen and explore where she needs to make the final decision when Ebuka makes the main points of the case.
“Mercy and Ike” will air every Sunday at 6:30 PM, and “Judging Matters” will air at 6:00 PM every Monday.
