  4. Tap on device.
  5. On your Windows 10/11 system, open the Whatsapp app.
  6. Scan the QR code you see.
  7. Your name will be entered into the application.

Note: You cannot turn off or uninstall Whatsapp from your phone after connecting device. If you do, the device will be signed out.


Whatsapp is a chat app that is still tied to phone numbers and is unlikely to change anytime soon.
