PUBG adds new features to the game all the time. New challenges are introduced from time to time to keep the game from getting old. However, before new features can be released, they must be tested and PUBG is too large for in – house testing to be sufficient. That’s why there are test servers. Players can choose to play on the test server and try out the features.

You can join a PUBG test server from a mobile device or PC. If you are connecting it from PC, you need to install a different app from Steam. It’s free to install. However, if you are coming together from a mobile device, you need to get an invitation code and it may take a long time before you get there.

To join PUBG test server on PC, you must already have the stable version of PUBG. You will then need to install the test server and access it through the main game.
