- Pillager outposts
- Forest premises
Of the above three, Pillager Outpost is the easiest to find. It is a rare structure but a Forest mansion is rarer than an outdoor space. Captain Illager is identified by the flag they carry. When you, or a tame wolf, are killed, you get the ‘Bad Omen’ effect.
Once you have the Bad Omen effect, you can enter a small town and it will start to attack.
Kill Ravager
After you start an attack, you have to fight through it and wait for the third wave of mobs to spawn. It is in this wave that the Ravager (s) appear.
To kill a prey, you can use all sorts of techniques but there are two common methods to use;
- Dig down until you have a hole in the ground. The predator will not be able to reach you but you can jump up and hit it with a sword, or any other weapon.
- Create an elevated platform that you can climb up. You can also climb a tree as it will not be able to destroy a predator. Once he’s close, you can use range weapons like a bow or rainbow or crashes to kill him.
Killing strategy
Predators only spawn in an attack that means you can plan for it. Once you find the Illager site, look for your nearest town. Establish the structures you need to be successful in the attack. Enter the outpost only after everything is set up and captain Illager is killed. Getting to know the location of your nearest town will make sure you reach it, and the attack will begin before the Bad Omen defeat wears off (lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes so there is no rush ).
